SAVU AT MADBUSH FALLS

Your refuge in the Mad River Valley. Madbush Falls, an ice cold waterfall just found its steaming hot partner: SAVU! With two of our new commercial saunas perched in full view of the waterfall, we have landed ourselves a dreamy little slice of the Mad River Valley. Serve yourself what you need. Do less and sweat more.

About the Waterfall at Madbush Falls

The waterfall at Madbush Falls and the serene pool below are stunning natural features that enhance the peaceful and restorative atmosphere here at Savu. While we love sharing this beautiful space with our guests, we ask that you enjoy it with care and an appreciation for its ever-changing nature.

Please note that SAVU does not own or maintain the trail to the falls, the pool, or the falls themselves. Exploring the trail or swimming is entirely at your own risk. Natural conditions—such as weather, ice, and water flow—can vary greatly, making the area unpredictable. Currents may be strong, objects can flow over the falls, and conditions will sometimes be unsafe.

We urge all visitors to exercise caution and respect the rhythms of the environment. At times, for your safety, we may require you to refrain from entering the water while enjoying our saunas.

SAVU RITUAL

Sweat is a natural remedy and we’re here to promote it as much as possible.

Sweat. 3x/ week at 180°. Commit to 10-15 minutes at a time in the sauna and focus on slowing down your breath. As your heart rate increases, breathing slowly and deeply becomes the mechanism for which you can calm your mind and allow the heat to work it’s magic on your body.

Cold. Immerse yourself in the snow or cold air for 1-2 minutes. Find a focus point. Soften your gaze. Breathe.

Rest. Let your body return to equilibrium.

Repeat.

NOTE: The waterfall and swimming hole at Madbush Falls are not managed by Savu. Access for swimming cannot be guaranteed, and guests who choose to swim do so at their own risk.
