Every SAVU product is supported by a warranty, as explained below.

Warranty against defects

SAVU offers a Limited Warranty against defects in material and workmanship, for one (1) year from the date of purchase. SAVU does not offer product replacement, but does guarantee workmanship and will perform necessary repairs and component replacement as defined by the warranty terms in this document. 

Please ensure that you retain your receipt as this document will be necessary for you to exercise your warranty rights.

Warranty coverage

The Warranty only applies to products manufactured by or for SAVU that can be identified by the SAVU trademark or logo affixed to them. SAVU warrants each of the SAVU products against defects in materials or workmanship ("defects") for the Warranty Period of one year computed from the date of receipt of the product by the purchaser ("Warranty").

Exclusions

The Warranty does not apply to any non-SAVU product. Specifically, SAVU does not offer any warranty on heating units. Warranty coverage for heaters are covered by the heater manufacturer. 


Others exclusions include:

  • Defects that come from normal wear and tear;

  • Defects caused by accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, misapplication, or non-SAVU products;

  • Defects caused by exposure to extreme natural conditions, liquids, or gases;

  • Defects caused by handling by third parties (such as delivery services, etc.);

  • Defects caused by service (including repairs) performed by anyone other than a SAVU authorized representative;

  • Defect caused by a modification of a product without SAVU’s permission;


Remedies

Limitation of warranty

THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SAVU SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

 

SAVU DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY THAT MEETS ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS AND FUNCTIONALITIES OF THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT.

 

The Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other legal rights depending on the state in which you reside. Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, some of the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. In such states, SAVU’s warranty is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable state law.

 

This Warranty is only extended to the original purchaser or gift recipient of a product.

Limitation of damages

SAVU IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (SUCH AS LOSS OF CONTENT, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, ETC.), OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE, CAUSED BY A PRODUCT DEFECT.

 

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions, thus the above exclusions may not apply to you.

How to obtain warranty service

If you detect a defect in your SAVU product during the applicable Warranty Period, you should contact our Customer Service Department, as indicated in How to Contact Us section below, for a replacement of your product.

 

When you contact the Customer Service Department, you will be asked to provide:

  • Your name;

  • Your address and telephone number;

  • Your receipt ;

  • The date of purchase; and

  • Model of sauna purchased


A customer service representative will provide you with the relevant instructions on how to schedule a repair with SAVU or an authorized service provider.  

Upon arrival, our Service Technician will check the product and will issue a report indicating whether the product or component needs to be fixed or replaced and whether its defects are covered by the Warranty.

IMPORTANT: Please provide a copy of your original receipt  to the Service Technician to be covered by the Warranty.

 

Product covered by the warranty

Product Repair

If the product needs to be repaired, the service technician will obtain necessary parts and execute the repair in a timely manner, but it will not give you the replacement directly. If the replacement parts are no longer available, SAVU will substitute a replacement of equal value and functionality.

Non-authorized service centers

If you have your product serviced by a Non-authorized Service Center, any price charged for the repair and any defect caused by their work, will not be covered by the Warranty.

Ownership rights

When a part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes SAVU’s property.

Terms of sale

This Warranty Policy is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Sale.
